Our name, derived from the Sanskrit words “Gyan” (knowledge) and “Astra” (weapon), embodies our mission to arm every child with the most powerful tool of all – knowledge. Gyanastra is a movement fuelled by the belief that education is the most potent weapon for transforming lives.
Who are we? We are dreamers, believers, and change-makers dedicated to creating a brighter future for the next generation. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a world where every child is nurtured, protected, and given the opportunity to dream. Our team consists of passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by a common goal: to advocate for children’s rights and provide them with the resources they need to flourish.
Our programs span a wide range of initiatives, from education and healthcare to nutrition and child protection. Through partnerships with local communities, governments, and like-minded organizations, we strive to address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and injustice that impact children’s lives.
